JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Result Slip: How to Check

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result slip on April 16, 2026. According to JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, a total of 632,788 candidates sat for the examination on the first day.

Candidates can check their results by sending "utmeresult" followed by their registration number to the SMS numbers 55019 or 66019, using a phone number registered during the examination registration. The results will be available for viewing until April 22, 2026.

To print the official result slip, candidates must visit the JAMB e-facilitation portal at efacil.jamb.gov.ng, log in with their email address and password, and pay a fee of N1,500. The result slip will include the candidate's passport photograph and full score details, which are required for the admission process.

Candidates are advised to keep multiple copies of the result slip, as institutions typically request them during the admission screening process.
