Jandor Withdraws from Lagos Governorship Race, Backs Hamzat

Abdul Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially withdrawn from the 2027 Lagos State governorship race, expressing his support for the endorsement of Obafemi Hamzat, the current Deputy Governor. Jandor announced his decision via a statement on his Facebook page on Thursday.

This move comes after he recognized the prevailing political realities within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the need for party unity. He emphasized that his withdrawal is not a sign of weakness but a demonstration of discipline and commitment to the APC.

Jandor reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and urged its members to remain united. He also expressed gratitude to the Lagos4Lagos movement for their support, describing the group as a platform focused on equity and inclusive governance.
