Jonathan cannot defeat Tinubu in 2027 elections – Bwala

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has stated that Goodluck Jonathan cannot defeat Tinubu in the 2027 elections. During an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, Bwala warned Jonathan against listening to those urging him to contest in the next election, claiming that there are unscrupulous elements trying to damage the reputation Jonathan has built since leaving office.

Bwala emphasized that if Jonathan decides to run, he will not be able to defeat Tinubu, who has already declared his intention to contest. While Jonathan has not officially declared his interest in running, Bwala stressed that in the current political climate in Nigeria, it is a fact and not conjecture that no single politician has the capacity to defeat President Bola Tinubu.
