Jonathan Is PDP’s Best Bet For 2027 — Lamido

Former Jigawa State governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Sule Lamido, has declared Goodluck Jonathan as the opposition party's strongest contender for the 2027 presidential election. In an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, Lamido described Jonathan as a qualified and electable candidate, urging the PDP leadership to actively woo him back to the party.

He emphasized that Jonathan's presidential experience, governance expertise, and ability to build consensus make him the best bet for the PDP in 2027. Lamido dismissed the idea of any other potential alternative from the South, stating that Jonathan is the most competent and qualified candidate.

He urged the party to prioritize Jonathan's return, as he believes there is no better alternative within the PDP.
