Tyson Fury Supported by Mike Tyson Ahead of Joshua Fight

Mike Tyson has publicly declared his support for Tyson Fury in a potential heavyweight showdown against Anthony Joshua, stating that his affection for Fury prevents him from backing Joshua. Tyson made these comments to Ring Magazine as both fighters completed their final warm-up bouts ahead of their anticipated match, with promoter Eddie Hearn confirming that contracts have been signed.

Joshua faced a tough challenge in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he was knocked down twice in the first round by Albanian Kristian Prenga but managed to recover and win by stoppage in the second round, improving his record to 30 wins from 34 fights. Meanwhile, Fury achieved a seventh-round stoppage victory over 46-year-old Polish veteran Mariusz Wach in Thailand.

Joshua dedicated his win to two friends from his team who died in a car crash in Nigeria last December. Hearn noted that the venue for the Joshua-Fury fight is still being determined, with Wembley Stadium and the United States as potential locations.
