Fury Claims Joshua Backs Out, Calls for Usyk Trilogy

Tyson Fury has accused Anthony Joshua of withdrawing from their anticipated heavyweight showdown, which has been in negotiation for a November date. Fury, 38, labeled Joshua a “coward” in an Instagram video, expressing impatience over the lack of confirmation for the fight.

He suggested that if Joshua does not proceed, he will seek a match with Oleksandr Usyk, whom he has faced twice before. Fury stated, “The ball is now in your court… do you want to fight me this year, 2026, or are you calling quits?” The fight's location remains undecided, with Madison Square Garden being a favored venue, while Joshua's camp prefers Wembley Stadium.

The Saudi state-owned promotional company Sela and broadcaster Netflix are believed to support staging the bout in the United States.
