Fury and Joshua to Battle for Custom Gold Belt

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will face off for a new custom solid gold belt in a long-awaited British heavyweight showdown later this year, as reported by Ring Magazine. The belt, described by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, will be made of 100% gold and feature the colors red, white, and blue, embellished with the Union Jack.

This bout will not hold any recognized world title, but it is expected to be a significant event, potentially shattering Wembley gate records when tickets go on sale. Joshua is scheduled to fight Albanian fighter Kristian Prenga on July 25, and Fury's fight will proceed regardless of Joshua's outcome.

Fury, who has a record of 35 wins (24 by knockout), 2 losses, and 1 draw, last fought in April, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision. Joshua's last fight was in December 2025 against Jake Paul, which he won in the sixth round.

Oleksandr Usyk has expressed support for Joshua, emphasizing the importance of mental preparation for the fight.
