DStv Secures New Agreement for 12 Channels, Averts Removal Threat

DStv has reached a new multi-year agreement with Canal, Warner Bros, and Discovery, ensuring the retention of 12 popular channels on its platform across Africa. The deal includes channels like CNN International, Cartoon Network, and Discovery Channel.

The agreement strengthens the partnership and allows for the continued distribution of HBO Max and plans to expand streaming services in additional countries. DStv subscribers were at risk of losing access to these channels but can now enjoy uninterrupted viewing.

Additionally, DStv Nigeria announces new offers for subscribers to reconnect in January and February.
