Oyo Court Summons Prison Doctor Over Former NURTW Boss Auxiliary's Health Status

The Oyo State High Court in Ibadan summoned a prison doctor from the Nigerian Correctional Service to explain the health status of Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, the former chairman of NURTW Oyo State. Auxiliary failed to appear in court for a criminal case, leading to confusion and anger from the presiding judge, Justice Adetujoy.

The defense counsel, Olalekan Ojo SAN, informed the court that Auxiliary had taken ill. The case was adjourned to January 21 for further clarification.

The judge emphasized the need for accurate information on Auxiliary's condition.
