Judge's Absence Delays Akpoti-Uduaghan Cybercrime Trial in Abuja

The trial of Senator Natasha Akpoti and Uduaghan on cybercrime charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja has been stalled twice due to the judge's absence. The trial, which began on June 30 with six counts filed by the Director of Public Prosecutions, was adjourned to September 22.

However, the proceedings were disrupted by objections raised by the defense, including concerns over jurisdiction and procedural issues. The trial is now rescheduled for February next year.
