Jumia Nigeria Expands Logistics Network Across Cities

Jumia Nigeria, a leading e-commerce company, has announced a significant expansion of its logistics and pickup network across Nigeria, aiming to enhance access to e-commerce services for millions of consumers. This expansion is set to be executed during the first quarter of 2026 and marks a deliberate shift towards growth in underserved regions, particularly in northern Nigeria, including Kebbi, Sokoto, and Kaduna.

The company intends to strengthen its presence in strategic cities such as Zaria, addressing long-standing coverage gaps in high-potential areas. Temidayo Ojo, Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, noted that this expansion aligns with the structural shift in demand and the need to extend the network deeper into the country.

The rollout will include a significant increase in pickup stations and delivery touchpoints across established urban centers like Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, enhancing network density in previously underserved locations and integrating into Jumia's logistics grid.
