ASUU Accuses Tinubu's Government of Endangering Nigeria's Future

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) from the Nsukka zone has accused President Bola Tinubu's administration of deliberately jeopardizing Nigeria's future by refusing to conclude the long-delayed renegotiation of the 2009 ASUU-FG agreement. The union, represented by Comrade Christian Opata, criticized the government's insincerity and delay tactics, posing a serious threat to the nation's development.

ASUU members unanimously rejected the government's proposed salary structure during recent negotiations, warning of a potential nationwide crisis if the renegotiation process is not concluded promptly.
