Bandits in southern Kaduna killed a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Ibrahim Makama, and three others, including Jonathan Jeremiah. The attacks occurred in Kachia town, with ongoing killings and kidnappings in the area.

Sebastian Yakubu confirmed the ambush on a commercial vehicle in Awon village. The bandits demanded ransom for the kidnapped passengers, with one person killed despite payment.
