Nnamdi Kanu's Trial Adjourned as Lawyers Withdraw, Defense to Open Soon

The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), at the Federal High Court in Abuja has been adjourned to open his defense after his legal team, led by Kanu Agabi SAN, withdrew suddenly. Despite Kanu challenging the court's jurisdiction, the judge, Justice James Omotosho, insisted on proceeding.

Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, who replaced the withdrawn lawyer, appealed for more time to prepare Kanu's defense, which was granted. The case has been adjourned until October 24.
