Cross River Governor Directs Appointees to Resign by 2026

Bassey Otu, the Governor of Cross River State, has issued a directive during a State Executive Council meeting, mandating that all political appointees who intend to contest in the 2027 general elections must resign from their offices by March 26, 2026.
