Drama as JAMB Officials Storm Out of Reps Hearing Amid Budget Scrutiny

Tension rose at the National Assembly as JAMB officials stormed out of a House of Representatives hearing on budget scrutiny. The committee, led by Obuku Oforji, demanded documents and the personal appearance of JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede.

However, Oloyede's representative, Mufutau Bello, refused, leading to a walkout. The committee members, including Awaji Inombek Abiante and Rodney Amboiowei, condemned the officials' conduct and warned of potential arrest warrants for non-compliance.

The hearing was adjourned to the next Tuesday for Oloyede's personal appearance.
