First Lady Tinubu Dragged to Court Over N20 Billion Fund

Convener of the Ife Book and Arts Festival, Ayodele Ademiluyi, has taken legal action against President Bola Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and other officials over a N20 billion library fund-raising controversy. The lawsuit, filed at the Federal High Court in Lagos, involves multiple respondents, including government officials and financial institutions.

The dispute arose from a video message by the First Lady urging Nigerians to contribute to an Education Fund instead of sending traditional birthday gifts, drawing criticism and accusations of mismanagement of funds.
