Remi Tinubu Launches Fundraiser for National Library Project

Senator Oluremi Tinubu disclosed her initiative to raise funds for the completion of the National Library project during a press briefing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The fundraising campaign, tied to her birthday, aims to gather donations from well-meaning Nigerians until December 2025.

Tinubu clarified that the fundraiser is not politically motivated but driven by a desire to impact lives positively through education and literacy. The project, initiated in 1981 but faced with funding delays, requires significant financial support for completion.

Various contributors, including former President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have already shown support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of the National Library in promoting knowledge and learning.
