Lagos Governor Appoints Speaker's Son as Local Government Chairman in Inauguration Ceremony

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated Abdul Ganiyu Obasa as the new Local Government Chairman of Agege, following the resignation of former chairman Tunde Azeez. The event, held at the Lagos House in Ikeja, also saw the swearing-in of Toyin Adejimiwa as the Permanent Secretary.

Sanwo-Olu urged Obasa to lead with fairness, unity, and inclusivity, emphasizing teamwork and service delivery for the benefit of the grassroots community. Obasa's appointment comes after Azeez stepped down due to health reasons, with Obasa's experience as the son of the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly being highlighted.
