Son of Minister David Umahi Joins Local Government Race in Ebonyi State

Osbourn Umahi, the son of Minister David Umahi, has declared his candidacy for the local government chairmanship race in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He picked a N30 million form from the APC and expressed his commitment to sustaining his father's infrastructure development legacy.

The APC chairman praised Osbourn's intelligence and capacity for turning around the fortunes of the local government. The Umahi family also announced other political moves within the state.

Governor Francis Nwifuru's committee endorsed Osbourn's position. Additionally, there are reports of Southeast support for Bola Tinubu's future presidential bid in 2027.
