NECO Releases 2025 SSCE Results: 60% Pass Rate Recorded

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), recording a 60% pass rate. The announcement was made by NECO Registrar, Professor Ibrahim Wushishi, during a press briefing in Minna.

A total of candidates sat for the SSCE exam, with a significant number achieving five credits, including Mathematics and English Language. The results also highlighted the participation of candidates with special needs, including those with hearing and visual impairments.

Professor Wushishi noted a decrease in examination malpractice compared to the previous year, indicating improved exam integrity.
