Nigerian Army Eliminates Notorious Bandit Kingpin in Kogi Operation

Nigerian Army troops from the 12 Brigade, operating under Operation ACCORD III in Kogi State, killed the notorious bandit kingpin, Babangida Kachalla. Acting on credible intelligence, the troops ambushed the bandits in Ofere Forest, neutralizing Kachalla and recovering weapons and other items.

Kachalla, a leader of a criminal group in the region, was confirmed dead following the encounter. The successful operation demonstrates the military's commitment to combating banditry and criminal elements in Kogi State.

Troops continue to patrol and conduct ambushes to eliminate remaining threats, showcasing the ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the area.
