NNPP Disowns Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Over Alleged Misconduct

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has officially disowned former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, stating that he was not a member of the party during the 2019 elections when alleged offenses took place. The NNPP accused Kwankwaso of trying to link the party to controversial incidents involving the Supreme Court judge.

The party emphasized that Kwankwaso joined NNPP a few months before the 2023 general elections alongside other political figures. NNPP accused Kwankwaso of attempting to change the party's logo and colors to reflect his Kwankwasiyya movement without consent.

The party also highlighted that Kwankwaso was expelled for gross misconduct and is no longer a member. The NNPP reaffirmed its leadership structure and key members, including Dr.

Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam and Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major.
