NNPP Dissolves Kano Executive Ahead of Governor Yusuf's APC Defection

The NNPP dissolved its Kano State executive committee in anticipation of Governor Abba Yusuf's defection to the APC, a move reportedly supported by former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. The dissolution was announced by NNPP's national public secretary, Oladipo Johnson, as part of the party's constitutional provisions.

Governor Yusuf is expected to formally join the APC soon, despite opposition from Kwankwaso. A caretaker committee will be set up to oversee NNPP's affairs in Kano State.
