PDP Candidate Endorses APC Rival Before Bwari Elections

In a significant political development, Hon. Adamu, the APC candidate for the Bwari area council chairmanship, gained support from a rival candidate from the PDP just under 72 hours before the elections scheduled for February 21, 2026.

The PDP candidate publicly announced his withdrawal from the race in favor of Adamu during an event held on Wednesday. In a video shared on Facebook, he expressed his decision to step down after deep consultations with the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

He emphasized the importance of unity, stating that it would not be beneficial for two brothers to compete against each other for the same office. The PDP candidate urged the residents of Bwari to vote for Hon.

Joshua, reinforcing the message that supporting Joshua would lead to positive developments in the area. Wike also called on the community to back the APC candidate, highlighting the need for a collective effort to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
