The Borno State Police Command's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit has initiated routine bomb sweeps at worship centers and recreational areas across the state, 24 hours after a suicide attack in Maiduguri. The exercise, directed by Naziru Abdulmajid, aims to guarantee a secure Christmas celebration.

ASP Nahum Daso, the police spokesman, emphasized the proactive approach to safety and urged the public to report any suspicious activities. This operation follows the recent suicide attack at a mosque and market in Maiduguri.
