Benue State Police Confirm 3 Officers Killed in Fresh Attacks; Suspects Arrested

Three police officers were killed in fresh attacks in Benue State, Nigeria. The Nigeria Police Force arrested six suspects connected to the attack on a police tactical team in Agu Centre, Benue State, on September 19.

Three officers died, and seven others are missing. CP Innocent Ifeanyi Emenari is leading the operation to rescue the missing personnel and apprehend fleeing suspects.

IGP Kayode Egbetokun condemned the attack and ordered the deployment of additional tactical assets to the affected area. The police are urging the public to remain calm and vigilant as efforts continue to rescue the missing officers and dismantle the criminal network behind the attack.
