Police Respond to Soludo's OCHA Brigade Clash, One Trader Killed in Onitsha

The Anambra State Police Command issued a statement following a clash involving officers of Soludo's OCHA Brigade that resulted in the shooting of seven traders, killing one at the Onitsha main market. The incident, part of the Operation Clean Health Anambra initiative, led to unrest in the area.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the deployment of a tactical team to restore calm and address the situation. The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, swiftly intervened to manage the altercation and ensure peace was restored at the market.
