Presidency Strongly Reacts to Peter Obi's Defection to ADC, Calls His Moves Unstable

The Presidency has reacted strongly to Peter Obi's defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), with Daniel Bwala, a special adviser to Bola Tinubu, criticizing Obi's political moves as unstable and reckless. Bwala described Obi as a "nomad politician" with a lack of clear political direction, accusing him of joining "structures of criminals." Obi's history of switching parties, including PDP, APGA, Labour, and now ADC, is pointed out as a pattern of inconsistency that weakens his long-term relevance.

Bwala also blamed Obi's inner circle for poor strategic choices. The ADC has remained silent amidst the criticism from the Presidency.
