Nigerian Resident Doctors Suspend Strike After Government Agrees to Demands

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended their strike after two days following negotiations with the government. President Tope Osundara announced the decision via WhatsApp, stating that the government had agreed to some of their demands.

The demands included payment of outstanding 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund, settlement of five-month arrears, salary structure review, and other allowances. The suspension aims to assist Nigerians seeking healthcare.
