Boko Haram Launches Fresh Attack in Borno, Kidnaps Two Residents

In a recent incident, suspected Boko Haram terrorists launched a coordinated attack on Malari community in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, kidnapping two residents. The assailants arrived on motorcycles around midnight and engaged in a 30-minute encounter with security forces.

The Borno State Police Command's spokesperson, Nahum Daso, confirmed the incident, stating that no lives were lost during the exchange of gunfire. This attack comes shortly after Nigerian troops rescued 12 girls abducted by the terrorist group in Askira Uba Local Government Area.

The continuous threat posed by Boko Haram in the region is highlighted despite ongoing counterinsurgency operations.
