Nigerian Troops Repel Terrorist Ambush, Two Soldiers and Two Civilian JTF Members Killed

In Borno State, two soldiers and two Civilian JTF members were killed in a terrorist ambush. The troops from the 25 Task Force Brigade were ambushed near Wajiroko and Azir Mult Axis in Damboa Local Government Area.

The patrol team, led by Brigadier General M. Uba, fought back with superior firepower, forcing the attackers to retreat.

The Nigerian Army confirmed the deaths and emphasized the bravery and professionalism of the troops. The Army also dismissed rumors of any abduction during the ambush.

Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu commended the troops for their courage and commitment to restoring peace in the region.
