Tinubu, Makinde, Adeleke Attend Ladoja’s Coronation as 44th Olubadan

President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke were among the dignitaries who attended the grand installation ceremony of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. The ceremony, held at the historic Mapo Hall, marked the official crowning of Ladoja, a former Oyo State governor and senator.

Ladoja's emergence followed the traditional succession process unique to the Ibadan chieftaincy system, where aspirants must rise through hierarchical ranks to ascend the throne. The event drew excitement from residents and showcased the cultural and political significance of the Olubadan stool in Yorubaland.
