Tinubu Meets APC Governors in Abuja for Urgent Talks

President Bola Tinubu convened a meeting with governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting, which began around 5 PM, was held in the council chamber before moving to the conference room of the President's office.

Present at the meeting were notable governors including Prof. Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Hyacinth Alia of Benue State, Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Peter Mbah of Enugu State, and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, among others. The specific purpose of the meeting was not disclosed, and it followed a closed-door session.

This meeting comes on the heels of Tinubu's engagement with Senate leadership earlier in the week, indicating ongoing discussions on urgent national issues.
