Governors Discuss Security Strategies with Tinubu in Lagos

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule provided insights into a recent gathering of governors with President Bola Tinubu in Lagos, which was primarily focused on security concerns and strategies ahead of the upcoming APC convention. The meeting took place at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, and was attended by 21 governors, including notable figures such as Hope Uzodimma and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Sule expressed his apologies for the event being held in Abuja instead of Nasarawa due to a tight schedule. He highlighted the importance of leadership in national development and acknowledged the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for its role in promoting innovation.

During the meeting, discussions lasted until late at night, preparing for the APC convention scheduled for the following month. Sule also received a leadership award from NIPR, recognizing his vision and contributions to governance in Nasarawa State.
