Tinubu Reschedules Three-Nation Trip to Sunday

President Bola Tinubu has rescheduled his planned three-nation trip to begin on Sunday instead of the previously announced Saturday. This development was disclosed by his special adviser on strategic communications, Bayo Onanuga, via an official post on X (formerly Twitter).

The trip will commence from Abuja and include official visits to France, Kenya, and Rwanda. In Kenya, Tinubu is expected to attend the Africa-France Summit, co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, scheduled for May 11-12, which will focus on issues such as energy transition, digital transformation, and climate action.

His participation in the summit will highlight Nigeria's commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with African nations and the French Republic. Following the summit, Tinubu will travel to Kigali, Rwanda, for the Africa CEO Forum on May 14-15, organized in partnership with the International Finance Corporation.

The forum aims to bring together business leaders and policymakers to discuss economic growth and investment across the continent. Tinubu will be accompanied by ministers and senior aides during this trip.
