Tinubu Reschedules Three-Nation Trip to Sunday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has delayed his planned three-nation trip, now set to commence on Sunday instead of the previously announced Saturday. The adjustment was confirmed by his special adviser on strategic communications, Bayo Onanuga, via an official social media post, although no official reason was provided for the change.

During this trip, Tinubu is expected to visit France and Nairobi, Kenya, where he will attend the Africa-France summit scheduled for May 11-12. The summit, co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, will focus on energy transition, digital transformation, and climate action.

The event aims to highlight Nigeria's commitment to strengthening partnerships with African nations. Following the summit, Tinubu will travel to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum on May 14-15, organized in partnership with the International Finance Corporation, which will bring together business leaders and policymakers.

Tinubu is expected to deliver a statement showcasing ongoing reforms aimed at positioning Nigeria as a top investment destination.
