Tinubu Submits New Service Chiefs' Names to Senate for Confirmation

Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu has forwarded the names of the newly appointed service chiefs to the Senate for confirmation. The letter was read during a plenary session in Abuja by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The nominees for confirmation include General Olufemi Oluyede as Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Waheedi Shaibu as Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abba as Chief of Naval Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Anek as Chief of Air Staff, and Major General Emmanuel Undiendey as Chief of Defence Intelligence.
