FCT Minister Wike Faces US Prosecution Over Alleged Mansion Acquisition - Money Laundering Claims

Activist Omoyele Sowore alleges that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike may face US prosecution over a $2 million mansion acquired in Florida through questionable means. Sowore claims Wike violated Florida State laws by allegedly using stolen or laundered money to purchase the property.

The activist accuses Wike of attempting to conceal ownership by registering the mansion in his wife's name, who is a serving Court of Appeal judge. Sowore argues that this arrangement amounts to property trafficking and money laundering, which are felonies in Florida.

Public records show that Wike acquired the property in March 2025, allegedly trying to sidestep asset disclosure by excluding his name from the paperwork.
