Uba Sani Wins Kaduna APC Governorship Ticket with 459,393 Votes

Uba Sani has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket for Kaduna State with a total of 459,393 affirmation votes. This victory follows endorsements from party delegates and stakeholders across the state.

The primary election, monitored by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was announced by Hon Hafiz Kawu, the chairman of the Kaduna APC governorship primary election committee, who described the exercise as peaceful, transparent, and a strong demonstration of unity and confidence in Governor Uba Sani's leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections. Rt Hon Yusuf Liman, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, also expressed unanimous support for Uba Sani during the event.

Sani thanked APC members and stakeholders for their confidence in his leadership, emphasizing his administration's notable progress in security, peacebuilding, and community engagement, aiming to improve the lives of citizens in both urban and rural areas of Kaduna State.
