Kaduna Communities Decry Renewed Bandit Attacks, Warn of Humanitarian Crisis

Kaduna communities, particularly in Kachia and Kajuru local government areas, are facing a severe security threat due to renewed bandit attacks. The violence, ongoing since 2016 despite peace efforts, has resulted in a full-blown humanitarian crisis with hundreds dead and many displaced.

Notable incidents include the kidnapping and detention of the Adara paramount ruler, Dr. Raphael Maiwada Galadima.

The affected communities are urging the federal and Kaduna state governments to restore peace, provide security, and investigate the atrocities.
