Kaduna Governor Uba Sani Presents N985.9bn 2026 Budget to State Assembly

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has presented a N985.9 billion budget for 2026 to the Kaduna State House of Assembly, emphasizing a people-centric financial plan that consolidates ongoing reforms in security, infrastructure, education, and rural development. The budget comprises N734.2 billion for recurrent revenue and N251.6 billion for capital receipts and expenditures, with significant allocations to education, infrastructure, health, agriculture, security, and social development.

The budget also includes provisions for climate action and community development projects at the ward level. Governor Sani urged lawmakers to expedite the budget's consideration to ensure progress and resilience in the state.
