Katsina Governor Presents N897.8bn Budget for 2026 Fiscal Year, Focusing on Economic and Social Development

Katsina Governor Dikko Umaru Radda presented a budget of N897.8 billion for the 2026 fiscal year to the Katsina State House of Assembly. The budget represents a 29.70% increase from the previous year, with a focus on economic and social sectors.

Recurrent expenditure is set at N167.7 billion, while capital expenditure is N730.1 billion. The budget aims to improve the lives of the state's citizens through various projects and initiatives.

Speaker Nasir Yahaya Daura assured that the budget proposal would receive due consideration for speedy passage.
