Kaduna Govt to Graduate 32,000 Annually from Vocational Institute

The Kaduna State Government plans to graduate 32,000 learners annually from its newly established Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development. Commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the institute aims to address critical manpower needs in 14 trade areas such as construction, energy, ICT, and hospitality.

The institute's focus on practical training ensures graduates gain competency in their chosen trade, making them employable in Nigeria's economy and globally competitive. Emphasizing skill acquisition, youth empowerment, and economic growth, the institute offers opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

The training model encourages citizens, especially women, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable youth, to take advantage of the institute's programs.
