Tinubu Approves N158bn Boost for Education | TVET Focus Empowers Youth

President Bola Tinubu has approved N158 billion for Nigeria's education sector, focusing on Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) initiatives. The announcement was made by Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Ahmad, during the 42nd convocation of Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Sokoto.

The investment aims to empower youth with digital skills to meet industrial needs. The government's commitment to education was highlighted through initiatives like rural electrification for universities.

The university also conferred honorary degrees on Sheikh Muhammad Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa and Faruku Yahaya. The funding signifies a significant boost for educational advancement in the country.
