Kaduna State Invests €10m in Arla Farm to Boost Dairy Production

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has invested €10 million in establishing Arla Farm in Damau Kubau Local Government Area as part of efforts to modernize the livestock industry and attract private investment. The project aims to transform livestock production, close infrastructure gaps, create sustainable jobs, and produce millions of kilograms of milk annually.

This initiative is seen as a milestone in the state's agricultural transformation drive, with the establishment of strong institutional frameworks for sustained growth in the livestock subsector. The project also includes plans to empower farmers, improve milk quality, create jobs, and provide dairy products to the people.

Various stakeholders, including the Minister of Livestock Development Alhaji Idi Maiha, have commended the project for its potential to stimulate economic growth and position Kaduna as a dairy hub in Nigeria.
