Kaduna State Invests €10 Million in Dairy Sector to Boost Local Milk Production

Kaduna State in Nigeria, under Governor Uba Sani's leadership, is focusing on transforming its economy through a significant investment in the dairy subsector. The state has unveiled a €10 million initiative with Arla to establish a state-of-the-art dairy farm in Damau, targeting an annual milk output of 4.5 million kg by 2023.

This project aims to address Nigeria's dairy deficit, create jobs, and improve local milk production. Governor Sani emphasizes the importance of strong institutional frameworks like KADLRA and Kaduna Ranch Development Company to ensure the long-term viability of the livestock industry.
