Uba Sani Reports Progress in Kaduna's Security and Education

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, stated that the state is now better than when he assumed office in 2023, citing improvements in security and infrastructure. Speaking at a workshop organized by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, he emphasized the need for urgent attention to security challenges and infrastructural gaps.

His administration has focused on seven strategic pillars, including safety, security, and agricultural development. Notably, Sani disclosed the establishment of new military bases in high-risk areas and the deployment of operational vehicles to combat street crime and banditry.

The administration has also reclaimed 20,000 hectares of farmland, enabling farmers to return to productive activities, particularly in areas like Birnin Gwari and Giwa. Additionally, Sani's government has made strides in education by constructing 736 new classrooms, renovating 1,200 existing ones, and recruiting 10,000 teachers.

He highlighted the establishment of the first forensic laboratory in Northern Nigeria to enhance investigative capabilities.
