Uba Sani: Kaduna Reforms Boost Service Delivery and Trust

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State stated that reforms have significantly improved service delivery in the state. During a visit from members of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, led by Dr. Moham Bello Shehu, he emphasized the administration's commitment to prudent resource management and fiscal resilience.

Over the past three years, Kaduna State has made notable progress in healthcare delivery and education, with reforms leading to increased internal revenue. The introduction of the CRF PayKaduna platform has simplified revenue payments and reduced leakages.

Sani reported a substantial decline in the number of school children, projecting 535,000 in 2023, while acknowledging challenges in reducing this number. He also noted the importance of public trust in governance, stating that citizens are more likely to contribute when they see tangible evidence of responsible resource management.

The administration has focused on expanding healthcare infrastructure and educational opportunities, particularly for girls, achieving near gender parity in school enrollment.
