Kano APC Denies Withdrawal of Support for Tinubu

The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has firmly denied claims made by a group known as the Arewa APC Forum, which alleged that they were withdrawing support for President Bola Tinubu's second term bid. In a statement issued on Saturday, Auwalu Abdullahi, the APC's Public Secretary in Kano, described the claims as false and a misleading attempt to tarnish the party's image.

The APC emphasized that it does not recognize the constitution of the group and that it has not taken any decisions regarding the alleged withdrawal of support. The Kano State chapter reaffirmed its full commitment to supporting Tinubu's administration, highlighting the leadership's focus on delivering good governance and economic reform for national development.

Umar Doguwa, a leader within the Kano APC, urged party members and the general public to disregard the claims, labeling them as the handiwork of mischief-makers intent on creating unnecessary tension.
